Navigating healthcare should feel less like a battle, more like a breeze.
My name is Chris King and I'm the founder and owner of Breeze Advocacy. I'm a Registered Nurse with a background in Home Healthcare, Palliative Care, Behavioral Health, and I have worked for Ohio's largest hospital systems and insurance providers.
I started Breeze Advocacy because I’ve seen what happens when people fall through the cracks.
As a longtime healthcare professional, I’ve watched families leave appointments with more questions than answers. I’ve seen older adults get discharged from hospitals without the support they needed, only to end up back in the ER days later. And I’ve seen caregivers—exhausted, confused, and overwhelmed—trying to make critical decisions with no clear direction.
But more than that, I’ve lived it.
I’ve sat on the other side, too—as a family member navigating the healthcare system for someone I loved. I remember feeling powerless, asking the right questions but not getting clear answers. I remember the stress of coordinating care, interpreting discharge instructions, managing medications, and making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. It was frustrating. It was exhausting. And at times, it felt like the system was working against us.
I created Breeze Advocacy to be what I needed back then—
A calm, knowledgeable presence.
A person in your living room who could translate the jargon, organize the plan, and say,
“It’s okay. We’ve got this.”
At Breeze Advocacy, I bring together my clinical experience, my personal journey, and my deep belief that no one should have to do this alone. I want people to feel less overwhelmed and more empowered. I want families to move forward with clarity and confidence. I want healthcare to feel less like a storm—and more like a breeze.
